Before filling up the form first download the bank challan from our Admission

Website Submit the fees in bank . Then fillup the form with the bank challan

number provided by the bank.


1. Candidates who have passed H.S. or its equivalent examination in 2012 onwards are eligible for admission to First Year.

2. 4th Phase of Admission Forms of First Year B.A. /B.Sc. / B.F.A.D (Honours/Major) will be available online from 04/05/2017 (10:00 AM) to 08/09/2017 (1:00 PM) from the College website www.rbgc.in Cost of Admission form is Rs: 250.00 only. Only from 04/09/2017 the Mode of Payment Challan will be generated from the website upto 3pm and offline Bank Payment will be available upto 4 pm on that date.

3. FILLED UP ADMISSION FORM must be submitted online along with scanned copies (in jpg format) of

  • Class XII mark sheet.
  • Class X admit card (for age verification).
  • Passport size photograph.
  • Caste certificate (if applicable).
  • Student Signature.
  • National Level Certificate (For Sports Quota)(if applicable).

4. It is mandatory that candidate seeking admission to First year must have passed English of not less than 100 marks.

5. Aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks in top 4 subjects, in order of marks, secured by candidate.

6. Marks in Compulsory Environmental Education / Studiesshall not be considered for calculating aggregate marks.

7. If Environmental Science of 100 marks is studied as an elective subject it may be taken into consideration while calculating aggregate marks.

8. Sports Quota – Candidates must produce National Level Certificate




a) A candidate can take honours in subject not studied in Class XII if he / she has studied the related subject in Class XII.

Honours in Related Subjects in class XII
Education If the candidate has not studied Education as a subject in the previous qualifying examination then Psychology/ Philosophy/ Mathematics/ Sociology/ Economics/ Political Science/ History/ Statistics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology be treated as related subjects.
Sociology Candidates passed the previous qualifuing examination (10+2) in Science/ Humanities/ Arts (except Commerce) stream with any subject will be allowed to get admission in Sociology (Honours).
History students from science, commerce stream and students who have not studied history in 10+2 can apply.
Political Science students from science, commerce stream and students who have not studied the subject in 10+2 can apply.
BFAD students who have passed in 10+2 exam with any subjects can apply.


9. During the time of admission two attested copies of the following documents have to be submitted.

  • Class X Admit Card
  • Class XII Mark Sheet
  • SC/ST/OBC-A/ OBC-B/Other Minority Certificates.
  • Original Character Certificate from school last attended.
  • 2 copies of recent passport size photograph. (not attested).


10. All Original documents have to be produced for verification without which admission will not be entertained.





CRITERIA TO ISSUE ONLINE ADMISSION FORM IN HONOURS.

Candidates need to fulfill the following conditions to get Admission Form in the above mentioned subjects(Except B.F.A.D)

1. O.B.C. A & O.B.C. B to be included in admission form.
2. Cut off marks according to C.U. criteria. For Honours
a) A minimum of 50% in aggregate & 45 % in the subject or related subject. Related subject for Sociology Honours is psychology and political science. Related subject for Education Honours is psychology, Philosophy, Mathematics, sociology, Economics, Political science and History. Candidates from Science and commerce stream or any subject from Arts can select History and political science as Honours. OR
b) 55% marks in the subject or related subject in the previous qualifying exam. OR
c) 50% in aggregate when the candidate has to not studied the subject in her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied.
d) Minimum 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% in the subject or related subject in the previous qualifying exam for SC, ST, PH, OBC A & OBC B candidates.(Certificate must be given for verification).
3.COLLEGE CRITERIA For Journalism and Mass Communication 60% in English or Bengali (1st language) and minimum 40% in aggregate.
For CMEV (Major) Minimum of 55% in English and 40% in aggregate.
B.F.A.D. Candidate must pass H.S. or equivalent. Top 4 Subjects to be considered for aggregate. Compulsory environmental education should not be taken into account for calculating aggregate.
4.Bengali or English will be the Answering Medium for all Examinations Under C.U.

B.F.A.D
1. The candidates passing out from any stream including vocational stream at H.S. level or equivalent having 40% marks in aggregate may apply.
2. The candidates passing out from open school(Approved By C.U.) may apply.
3. Candidates applying for B.F.A.D need not have to select any elective subjects as it is an integrated course.
4. Candidates applying for B.F.A.D need not have to mention any compulsory or MIL subject as it is an integrated course.
5. For sponsored candidates the application is to be Submitted in the given format.
